This is a very original 1972 VW Beetle ? 1302LS Convertible (Chassis#1522491071), an excellent example of one of the world?s most attractive popular cars. Owned by Joseph Coors Jr. of the famous Coors Brewing, this car keeps its original 1600 cc engine (#AE771869) with 60 bhp.

Officially known as the VW 1302LS, but commonly called Super Beetle, this model was produced in Germany with coil-spring MacPherson-strut front suspension, 3.2-inch longer nose, 0.8-inch longer wheelbase, 11.1 gallon gas tank (versus 10.6), 3 cubic-feet more trunk space, a reduced turning circle, an 11 percent larger rear window (0.16?in taller), larger front brakes, four rows of vents on the engine deck lid, tail lights incorporating reverse lights, a four-spoke energy-absorbing steering wheel and steering column, an engine compartment socket for the proprietary VW Diagnosis system and a Glove box locker.

With its original color paint ? Marina Blue ? this Super Beetle retains its original Customer Identification Card and Owner?s Manual with diagnosis coupons up to 12,000 miles.

The engine, transmission, associated components are in excellent condition as well as top, battery compartment and floors. The brake system was completely serviced by RB Collection.

With a impecable interior, this beauty is a rare find and ready for any show or just for fun.
