Mustang Convertible

Year: 1969|Miles: 41,250|

Mr. and Mrs. William T. Hatcher purchased this Mustang Convertible new from Stephenson Ford in their hometown of Gaffney, SC. The date was July 18, 1969 and the salesman, Mr. Clary, allowed them $2,132.28 for their 1968 Volkswagen. Mrs. Hatcher drove the car sparingly until 1976, when it was stored in the warehouse with only 41,000 miles. Upon the passing of Mr. & Mrs. Hatcher, it was willed to son, Thomas Hatcher, who never moved it. The last inspection sticker is still in the windshield (1976). After 36 years, a classic car dealer, whom bought the car, removed it from the ?barn? in the spring of 2012. We bought this wonderful and no rust car on October 2012 and started to work in a complete restoration, preserving its original and stunning interior, as well as tools, spare tire, trunk pads and impeccable factory panels. During the documented restoration process, all the tags and numbers were kept (as shown in the pictures).
