RB Collection is pleased to offer this outstanding and desirable 1931 Ford Model A rumble seat roadster. It presents in lovely condition, with excellent paintwork on the straight and tidy body. Primrose yellow on the main body is accented with black fenders and feature lines, while the red pinstripe ties in nicely with the bold, bright red wire wheels. As the sportiest of the Model A body styles, this Roadster is adorned with a side mount spare wheels, whitewall tires, radiator stone guard, mascot and etched wind-wings. The bumpers are straight and, along with the accessories, chrome plating is in very good condition, with no major flaws to speak of.
The interior is trimmed in high quality brown upholstery, very nicely detailed and presented in super clean and tidy condition. The seat shows little wear and good quality fitment. The tan top is excellent, with no staining or blemishes and proper taut fitment. Likewise, the top frame is in good order and works as it should. Other interior fittings and controls are all correct and in good working order.
This Model A’s crisp good looks are matched by a great driving experience. It runs strong and drives very well with excellent road manners and no issues to speak of. The engine, drivetrain and undercarriage are all in good order, presenting in clean and tidy condition. For additional comfort, a period correct hot air heater has been fitted, and the wipers have been upgraded to electric should you get caught in some less than ideal conditions. Whether you are a devoted enthusiast or someone looking for their first classic, this excellent Ford Model A is great for serious touring or for relaxed weekend jaunts; a lovely example that is ready for enjoyment.

Built from 1927 to 1931, the Model A was Ford’s first production car with conventional controls, allowing it to compete with the likes of Chevrolet who had stolen Ford’s top spot in sales in 1927. The Model A was robust, simple, and easy to drive with good performance from the flathead four-cylinder engine. It was also long lasting – as The Model A has gone on to become a cornerstone of the collector car hobby and with nearly 5 million built, they remain plentiful, affordable and a fabulous choice for a wide range of enthusiasts, from the first time classic car buyer to the dedicated collector, the Model A has near universal appeal.
